LEAD HOUSE MENTORS
Husband and Wife Team
Provide residential care and supervision for child survivors of human trafficking in a therapeutic group home setting. Work as a married couple team to create a stable, family-like environment that promotes healing and development. Lead Mentors work one week on-site, one week off, in a rotating schedule, providing consistent, trauma-informed care that supports residents’ recovery, education, and life skills development.
- Provide direct care and supervision to residents in a home-like, family-style setting
- Maintain established routines, behavioral interventions, and individualized treatment plans using trauma-informed approaches
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing and trust
- Support residents’ educational progress, social development, and life skills acquisition
- Manage household operations including meal preparation following dietician-approved menus, household chores, and maintenance coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incidents, and daily activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, facility policies, and DCF regulations
- Participate in service plan development, case review meetings, and treatment team collaboration as needed

This position does not have direct supervisory authority but works collaboratively with Relief Mentors and provides guidance to volunteers and support staff as needed.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Program Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all Path2Freedom programs and services. This role ensures that every program is trauma-informed, compliant with Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations, and aligned with the organization’s mission and vision. The Program Director manages staff, oversees budgets, ensures adherence to licensing and relicensing standards, and leads initiatives to strengthen program quality, sustainability, and community impact. Collaborating closely with the President & Founder, this position plays a key role in advancing organizational goals, developing partnerships, and promoting excellence across all program operations.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees all program operations and activities to ensure alignment with Path2Freedom’s mission and goals.
- Develops, implements, and monitors program policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
- Maintains oversight of program timelines and deliverables, ensuring all initiatives remain on schedule, within budget, and operate efficiently.
- Leads and coordinates program communications, ensuring effective information flow among staff, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Oversee the management of staff work assignments, workloads, and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and accountability across all programs.
- Participates in licensing and relicensing procedures in collaboration with the Case
- Coordinator team and Program Admin.
- Works closely with administrative and clinical staff to ensure all program operations meet DCF, safety, and quality-of-care standards.
- Supports program growth and development through strategic planning, community partnerships, and staff collaboration.
- Collaborates with the Development team on fundraising and community outreach initiatives.
- Administers program budgets, including oversight of expenditures, billing, payments, and financial reporting.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with staff, clients, volunteers, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinates and facilitates program-related meetings, training, and events.
- Fosters collaboration and positive communication between the program team, other departments, leadership, and external partners.
- Partners with the Communications team to support marketing, public relations, and social media activities related to program initiatives.
- Provides regular program updates and outcome reports to the President & Founder and Board as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Directly supervises approximately 12–14 employees within the Program Department, including Program Manager, House Mentors, Case Management staff and School Headmaster.
- Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and Experience:
Requires:- Master’s Degree (Social Work or related) & 2 years of experience in Social Services, or Bachelor’s Degree & 4 years of experience in childcare
- One to two years of related program management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting preferred.
Knowledge of program management, compliance, and development procedures. Computer and Technical Skills:

HOUSE RELIEF
MENTOR
This is an overnight role 3-7 days, every other week that would require the mentor to live in the home on a weekly rotation, alternating time with lead mentors.
- Mentors must have 21 hours of preservice training and 24 hours of Human Trafficking Training.

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

The Program Administrator ensures DCF regulatory compliance of all direct care staff/volunteer vetting, training and file management, and coordinates volunteer engagement for Path2Freedom’s Safe House program. This role serves as the primary liaison for DCF staff compliance requirements, manages all background screening and training processes, and supports the seamless onboarding and ongoing support of staff and volunteers who work directly with survivors. The ideal candidate combines meticulous attention to detail with a heart for our mission and the ability to master complex regulatory frameworks.
Compliance & Staff File Management
- Master and maintain current knowledge of all DCF compliance requirements for direct care staff/volunteer files
- Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready files for all direct care staff/volunteers in accordance with DCF regulations
- Coordinate and process all background screening requirements and renewals
- Submit monthly compliance logs to licensing agent and participate in annual re-licensing processes
- Track expiration dates for certifications, screenings, and training requirements with proactive renewal notifications
Training & Onboarding
- Coordinate and track completion of pre-service and annual training requirements for all direct care staff
- Design and facilitate comprehensive onboarding and orientation for new staff and volunteers
- Ensure all direct care workers receive, review, sign, and understand current policies and procedures and other DCF required documents
Volunteer Management
- Process volunteer applications with thorough vetting, background screening, and training coordination
- Match volunteers with program needs and conduct onboarding and orientation sessions
- Communicate volunteer opportunities and assign volunteers to appropriate roles
- Check in periodically with volunteers to ensure positive experience and address concerns

To provide necessary support to residents whose educational needs have been disrupted due to trauma, specifically by acts of human trafficking.

THIRD SHIFT AWAKE STAFF
SAFE HOUSE SECURITY
- Path2Freedom is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Third Shift Awake Staff member to provide overnight security and safety monitoring at our safe house facility. This position serves as the overnight guardian, ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff while they sleep, without direct resident interaction.
- Respond immediately to any emergency situations and follow established protocols
- Maintain detailed incident logs and shift reports
- Ensure all doors, windows, and entry points remain secure
- Monitor and document any unusual activities or disturbances
- Coordinate with local emergency services and House Mentors if needed
- Maintain communication with day shift staff through daetailed handoff reports
- Maintain quiet presence to ensure residents can sleep undisturbed

The turnaround time to process fingerprint results for renewals submitted between 12/16-12/28 is currently increased due to office closures over the holidays. The fingerprints have been retained for another five years by FDLE and will not expire.
The Retained Prints Expiration date will be updated in the Clearinghouse Results Website once the system receives the fingerprint result from FDLE.
Please allow time for the renewal screening to complete processing. There is no need to pay for a new screening at this time.
